2019 Dragon Ball Tour to Attempt World Record for Largest Kamehameha

dragon ball world tour

Dragon Ball fans will soon get the opportunity to make history. Those who plan to be in the area for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con can take part in the opening day of the 2019 Dragon Ball World Adventure event, which kicks off on Wednesday, July 17 at 3:30pm with an attempt to nab the Guinness Record for the world’s largest Kamehameha.

Guinness officials will be on hand to verify the record if it all goes according to plan. Goku voice actor Sean Schemmel will lead everyone in the record-breaking blast, and the first 1,000 participants will get a free Dragon Ball Scouter accessory to wear during the attempt. If this sounds like something you have to get in on, you’ll want to be on the Marriot Marina Terrace at the Marriot Marquis San Diego when it happens.

You can find out more about this year’s tour on the official website, including the rest of the plans for its July 18-21 stay during Comic-Con. Fans can look forward to photo booths, video game displays, a sticker rally, and plenty of exclusive merch like the items pictured below.

Other stops after the SDCC opener include New York City; Mexico City, Mexico; Cologne, Germany; Barcelona, Spain; Shanghai, China; Hong Kong, China; and Tokyo, Japan.
