Adult Manga Overflow Gets Anime Adaptation

Overflow, an adult manga by author Kaiduka, is getting the anime treatment. The news, revealed yesterday, comes complete with one of the most, uh, creative pieces of key art we’ve seen in a while.

Overflow tells the tale of college student Kazushi and his childhood friends sisters Ayane and Kotone Shirakawa, who somehow all end up in the bath together.

Overflow is part of a line of adult-oriented anime from the folks at ComicFesta, who produce a “clean” version for TV and a spicier one for their website (recent hunky firefighter anime Yubisaki kara no Honki no Netsujō: Osananajimi wa Shōbōshi is another example). Usually the two versions have different vocal casts, though that won’t be the case for Overflow.

The anime is directed by Rei Ishikura (High School Fleet episode director) and written by Eeyo Kurosaki.

Those of you overflowing with excitement will have to wait a couple months: the series begins airing January 6.
