I don’t know about you all, but one of the anime series we’re most excited for here at Otaku USA is Trigger’s Kill la Kill, which comes from Gurren Lagann director Hiroyuki Imaishi and writer Kazuki Nakashima. Thankfully we know we’ll get a chance to check it out legitimately, because Aniplex of America announced the Kill la Kill license at this past weekend’s Otakon convention in Baltimore.
Aniplex plans to stream the series this fall, and will also be releasing it on home video in the future, with details to come at a later date. For now, we can enjoy a new version of a previously released Japanese trailer, now in English.
Kill la Kill will be the first TV series from Trigger, who previously released web series Inferno Cop and the widely appreciated Little Witch Academia, the sequel to which was recently successfully crowd-funded.
