Starting early next year, we’ll be missing out on a reliable source for legit anime song streaming. The ANiUTa service launched its US version on iOS and Android in August of 2018, a little over a year after debuting in Japan. Unfortunately, due to the challenges of the market, ANiUTa announced it will be stopping its US service on March 31, 2020.
While the Japanese version will continue, ANiUTa shed some light on the end of the US service. In a tweet, the company said they decided to close it due to the “challenges in creating and maintaining a successful service that meets [their] users’ expectations.”
For those who are currently members, you’re going to need to cancel your subscription before March 31. Failure to do so will cause the App Store or Google Play to continue charging a monthly subscription fee.
