Blast Monsters With Three Friends in Lost Planet 2

I never finished Capcom’s first Lost Planet, but I fully intend to before the sequel comes out, because it looks incredible. Capcom made the Lost Planet 2 announcement this week over a video on Xbox Live Marketplace, showing a relatively beefy amount of footage that melts the frosty planet’s snow in some areas, making way for tropical battlefields littered with pirates and nasty Akrid monsters.
One particularly interesting thing shown in the video is a giant mech with at least three players in it (check the picture below if it sounds too good to be true). The best part, we’ll get to bust that out online in the freshly announced four-player co-op mode. Capcom has been on an amazing roll lately, and this just further cements their current hold over gamers.
There’s no release date for the game at the moment, but it’s being developed for Xbox 360, and we’ll be sure to keep you posted if anything as juicy as this pops up in the future. For now, make sure you check out the announcement trailer if you haven’t already.
