Bungo Stray Dogs Anime Gets Third Season

Bungo Stray Dogs Anime Gets Third SeasonBungo Stray Dogs, the popular anime in which Japanese literary giants team up to fight crime, is getting a third season, it was reported this weekend.

The news was revealed at a screening of the Bungo Stray Dogs film, Dead Apple, in Shinjuku, Tokyo. On hand to celebrate the news were voice actors Mamoru Miyano (Osamu Dazai) and Yuto Uemura (Atsushi Nakajima).

No details have been revealed yet, but we suspect there’s a good shot the series will be directed by Takuya Igarashi, who handled both seasons 1 and 2 and the film, and be animated over at Bones.

Meanwhile, Dead Apple will be released on home video in Japan December, and a release event will be held at Animate Ikebukuro December 9.
