June 19, 2017 Back in February, it was announced Bungo Stray Dogs, the series in which Japan’s literary greats team up to fight crime, would be getting a brand-new film.
Now more details about that film, including its title, release date (well, season, anyway) and teaser trailer have been revealed.
The film, which will be titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, hit Japanese theaters in spring 2018.
The first teaser visual for the film shows main characters Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, Akutagawa Ryunosuke and Nakahara Chuya hanging out on a reflective surface.
A teaser trailer for the film, also released today, uses the song “Reason Living” by SCREEN mode, which served as the second opening theme for the series.
Here’s looking forward to more literary action next spring.
