Zombie Land Saga is one of the true strange surprises of the fall 2018 anime season, offering up a zombified, death metal take on your traditional idol series. It’s appropriate, then, that the show is getting in on the celebration of today’s very important holiday: World Zombie Day.
Whether you knew this day existed or not, you can join in on the fun with a new key visual for the Zombie Land Saga anime, which has the show’s idols both in and out of their zombie forms.
MAPPA animates Zombie Land Saga, with Munehisa Sakai directing. The anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, where it’s described like so:
