Chi’s Sweet Home Gets CG Anime

Chi’s Sweet Home, the unbearably cute manga series about an adopted kitten, is getting a CG-animated series, reports Kodansha’s Morning magazine.

Likelihood CG Chi will be cuter than CG Bill Murray Garfield? Extreme-chi.

There aren’t many details on the series yet, but we know it will begin airing this fall. To go along with the news, Morning is also publishing a new manga called Chi’s Sweet News tracking Chi’s adventures following the events of the original Chi’s Sweet Home manga, which wrapped up last year.

Chi’s has already been adapted into two traditional hand-drawn animation series. Episodes of both lasted three minutes a piece, and were released on DVD by Discotek. The original manga is being released Stateside by Vertical.

The fall 2016 anime season just got a lot cuter.
