A few days ago we got a peek at the two leads of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba stage play adaptation in costume. Now that we’ve seen Tanjiro and Nezuko, it’s time to see how fan-favorite characters Zenitsu and Inosuke are shaping up for the stage version.
Keisuke Ueda (Choromatsu in the Mr. Osomatsu stage plays) is playing Zenitsu. The actor says he’s been reading the manga and watching the anime, and hopes to bring the character’s charm to the stage.
Here’s how he looks in costume:
Yugo Sato (Denki Kaminari in My Hero Academia The Ultra Stage) is donning the beloved mask of Inosuke. He says the body is currently a costume, but he wants to try his best to train his body to fit the part perfectly.
Written and directed by Kenichi Suemitsu—who’s been working on the Touken Ranbu series’ stage plays since 2016—performances of the Demon Slayer play kick off in Tokyo on January 18.
