We’ve got a few more details on Digimon Adventure tri. thanks to the anime’s official website. The new show is in the works to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original Digimon Adventure anime, and a fresh visual has been posted along with cast and theme updates.
Many of the Digimon voice actors will be returning for tri., and you can see some of who’s playing who in the list below.
Agumon – Chika Sakamoto
Gabumon – Mayumi Yamaguchi
Piyomon – Katori Shigematsu
Gomamon – Junko Takeuchi
Palmon – Kinoko Yamada
Patamon – Miwa Matsumoto
Tentomon – Takahiro Sakurai
Tailmon/Gatomon – Yuka Tokumitsu
The new visual:
Kouji Wada will sing the opening theme, “Butter-fly,” and Ayumi Miyazaki will sing “Brave Heart.”
As previously reported, Keitaro Motonaga (Jormungand, Date a Live II) directs the series, with Yuuko Kakihara (Heaven’s Lost Property, Chihayafuru 2) on series composition and Atsuya Uki (Cencoroll) on character designs.
There’s currently still no air date or TV listing for Digimon Adventure tri.
