Dragon Ball Super’s Morio Hatano to Direct New World Trigger Season

It’s been a while since the anime adaptation of Daisuke Ashihara’s World Trigger was on the air, but it’s soon set to return with some updated staff members. Chief among the key players for the new season is Morio Hatano, who will be taking over the series director duties from Kouji Ogawa.

Among Hatano’s previous credits is the Future Trunks saga from Dragon Ball Super. Other staff members include Hiroyuki Yoshino, who returns as series composition writer, as well as Kenji Kawai on music and Toshihisa Kaiya on character designs.

There’s currently no date for the new season, but it will air on TV Asahi in Japan.
