Fairy Tail’s Hiro Mashima to Illustrate Dragon Quest XI Manga

Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine has a special one-shot manga on the way for Dragon Quest XI in 2019, and they got a pretty big name to handle illustration duties. The artist in question is none other than Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima, who will be drawing a story that follows the thief Erik prior to meeting the Luminary.
Additional details are light at the moment, but V-Jump shared one of Mashima’s drawings of Erik as part of the announcement.
