First Look at Attack on Titan Team’s New Anime

The first trailer recently went online for Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, an original survival-action anime featuring some of the talent behind the Attack on Titan adaptation. Joining director Tetsurō Araki (Attack on Titan, Death Note) is Ichirō Ōkouchi on scripts, Haruhiko Mikimoto on character designs, Hiroyuki Sawano on music, and Titan‘s Wit Studio on animation production.

On the island nation of Hinomoto humanity lives within fortified “Stations,” while soldiers protect them from undead monsters using steam-powered, armored trains. Dig into the first look at the new series, which is coming to Fuji TV’s noitaminA block in April 2016, below.
