First Ninja Slayer Production Report Posted

This past Saturday, the official site for the upcoming Ninja Slayer From Animation, the upcoming series from Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill) was updated with the first entry of a production blog.

Ninja Slayer From Animation, if you’ll recall, is “a ludicrous sendup of Japanese ninja tropes as seen through the eyes of uninformed Americans, but actually written and created by Japanese people pretending to be uninformed Americans on Twitter.”

The production blog, written by Kadokawa employee “K,” shares the same not-exactly-serious style. For example, says K:

“First off, for those who’re asking, ‘what exactly is a Ninja Slayer? Can I eat it?,’ let me give you a simple explanation. Ninja Slayer is… this guy.”

“As for those of you who want to know why this dude became a ninja slayer, and just what he has against ninja, please consult this Twitter feed. For people thinking, ’But K, using the internet is hard! I like paper! I wanna read manga!’ I recommend looking here.”

Finally, K says, “okay, but introduction got pretty long, but it’s finally time to start the production report! Or so I’d like to say, but we’ve run out of time today. Sorry.”

That K…

“To conclude, just one more thing. Studio Trigger’s logo is really cool, huh!”

We’ll be keeping an eye on the Ninja Slayer page and letting you know if any more substantial info hits (or if K continues to string us along).
