October 4, 2010 I’ve been slacking on my Kamen Riders for a while, until recently at least. I jumped right back into things with Kamen Rider OOO, which, while holding on to many of the problems that tend to plague more recent iterations, leans toward the fun side of things moreso than the dramatic.
Even if your interest in the long-running series of henshin heroes is limited to a casual glance, the brief CM for the latest three-part film is worth another. The exhaustingly titled Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider OOO & W featuring Skull: Movie War Core kicks off with Kamen Rider Skull: Message for Double, which focuses on Kamen Rider W and Ryu Terui’s marriage to Akiko Narumi.
The subsequent segments include both the mummified remains of Oda Nobunaga in Kamen Rider OOO: Nobunaga’s Ambition, and Kamen Rider Core vs. Double and OOO in Movie War Core. I realize this and the preceding paragraph probably sound completely insane to some of you! Check out the commercial below:
