Funimation Acquires, Simulcasts Princess Jellyfish

Funimation announced their latest acquisition today through a partnership with Fuji Television. The distributor will kick off a simulcast of Princess Jellyfish, which is part of Fuji TV’s noitaminA block.

Princess Jellyfish (Kuragehime) is a romantic comedy based on a manga by Akiko Higashimura (Himawari: Kenichi Legend). The 11-episode adaptation features production by Brain’s Base (Baccano!), with Baccano! and Durarara!!‘s Takahiro Omori directing.

The first two episodes will be available to stream at Funimation’s video portal starting Thursday, October 28 at 11:45 a.m. CST, with a new episode added each week.

Funimation will also start streaming Heaven’s Lost Property Forte (Sora no Otoshimono: Forte) on Friday, October 29.
