It’s really more of a brief teaser, but consider this an appetite-whetter for the upcoming sequel to Resident Evil: Degeneration.

Like Degeneration, Damnation is an all-CG movie that, aesthetically speaking, is pretty darn close to the kind of visuals you see in cutscenes from the games themselves. The production, due out in 2012, once again brings Capcom and Sony Pictures Entertainment together.

The trailer will also be included in the DVD and 3D Blu-ray release of the live-action Resident Evil: Afterlife, which hits North American shelves on December 28. Check it out below:
