Get Nostalgic with Carcaptor Sakura: The Movie Promo

While we wait to find out what the next big news reveal is for the Cardcaptor Sakura franchise, revival screenings of 1999 feature Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie are coming to Japan at the start of next year. Advanced tickets go on sale on December 3, with the limited screenings planned for nine theaters in Japan on January 21, 2017.

Morio Asaka—who also directed the TV series and the second movie, Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2: The Sealed Card—helmed the original feature, and you can see a promo for the revival screenings below.
