God Eater Anime Debuts This Summer

Bandai Visual and Fate/stay night studio ufotable have set a season for the debut of the God Eater anime, which adapts the action-RPG series by Shift. Takayuki Hirao—who previously worked on the game series and directed the Gyo OVA and the fifth Garden of Sinners movie—helms the anime, which is set for this summer.

Gō Shiina will be handling music for the ufotable production, while Keita Shimizu works on character designs. With the God Eater series celebrating its fifth anniversary, a teaser for the anime that also runs through the timeline of the games was recently posted.
