Japan Gets JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Converse Sneakers

Yare yare daze.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, the manga which turns 30 next year, is celebrating a new wave in popularity thanks to the hit TV adaptation by David Production. Now comes the ultimate sign JoJo’s has made it big: custom Converse All Stars.

The sneakers, which hit Japan next July, come in two varieties, patterned after Diamond is Unbreakable villain Yoshikage Kira and his stand Killer Queen and manga-ka Rohan Kishibe and his Heaven’s Door. Like in the manga, “unable to attack Rohan Kishibe” is written inside the latter pair.

As you might have guessed, these Chucks don’t come cheap: the Kira model goes for ¥23,760 (about $200), while the Rohan version is a slightly more reasonable ¥12,960 (around $100).
