Junji Ito’s Fragments of Horror Manga Debuts on June 16

If you dig Japanese horror manga, you likely know the name Junji Ito well. The highly-regarded master of the macabre has been responsible for some of the most memorable frights in the genre, including the likes of Uzumaki, Gyo, and Tomie, among others. Viz Media is getting ready to release his latest collection, the Fragments of Horror anthology, on June 16.

Viz describes the release:

FRAGMENTS OF HORROR contains a unique collection of delightfully macabre tales from the master of horror manga. An old wooden mansion that turns on its inhabitants. A dissection class with a most unusual subject. A funeral where the dead are definitely not laid to rest. Ranging from the terrifying to the comedic, from the erotic to the loathsome, these stories showcase Junji Ito’s long-awaited return to the world of horror.
