Have you ever wanted to see Godzilla in person without having to risk life and limb to do so? A solution is on the way to the Nijigen no More amusement park on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, which will be home to a life-size Godzilla head and torso statue that stretches to a whopping 120 meters in length.
Those who visit the park will get a rare chance to act as researchers and enter Godzilla’s mouth on a zip line. According to Toho’s Keiji Ota, the Godzilla attraction—which is based on the monster’s appearance in 2016’s Shin Godzilla—will have a “huge presence and tremendous impact.” You can get an idea of what it might look like in a couple more mockups below.
