Linked Horizon’s theme song to Attack on Titan became quite the hit along with the anime adaptation itself, and it’s served as the score to plenty of parodies and tributes since the series started airing. What about the full single, though?
After deciphering some decoded tweets, fans in Japan learned that the full music video of “Guren no Yumiya” would make its debut on large outside monitors in Shibuya around 9:00pm on June 19, and it looks like they were dead on. See what the spectacle looked like below.
Group lead Revo happened to be celebrating his birthday at the same time, so it was a special occasion all around. He also announced a July 10 release date for Linked Horizon’s maxi-single, “Jiyu E no Shingeki,” which includes both opening themes.
