If you’re a fan of writer Saki Hasemi and illustrator Kentaro Yabuki’s To Love-Ru manga, you’re in for a treat. This year’s 21st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced plans for a return, and while it may not be in the form of a new series or continuation, there will be a special standalone story in the next issue of Jump.
The tagline for the one-shot manga is, “The return of the largest harem in Heisei!! 31 heroines!?,” and the title is “Rito and Sayaka’s After School.” The 25-page episode will also serve as a commemoration of artist Kentaro Yabuki’s 20th work anniversary.
The next issue of Jump is the combined 22nd and 23rd issue, as well as the final issue of Japan’s Heisei era. Look for it on Japanese shelves on April 27.
Here’s the cover of the Jump issue with the announcement, which also shared plans to showcase a preview of Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto’s new Samurai 8 manga.
