Moogles, Power Rangers and Jedi: March 2016 Cosplay Roundup

You want cosplay? You got it.

Our resident cosplay expert Ani-Mia recently put out the call to some of her favorite cosplayers and photographers to see what they’ve been up to lately, and they’ve delivered the goods. Let’s see what we’ve got.

First up, an Alice in Wonderland-inspired photoshoot from FirstGlance Photography with cosplayers Vampy Bit Me, Alodia and Ashley. Aside from inspiring these cosplayers, Alice in Wonderland has also been the basis for several anime series, including Alice in the Country of Hearts and Pandora Hearts.

Next up, we’ve got cosplayer Everybody Loves Tony Ray as the Black Ranger with photography by Jose Luna and Kimeth Mcclelland at Aurora Artz. I feel safer just knowing he’s out there.

We believe it was President Teddy Roosevelt who said, “walk covered in moogles and carry a big clock.” Right? This awesome Final Fantasy Moogle Queen cosplay comes courtesy Riri with photos by Elite Cosplay.

To round things out, a bit of cosplay that doesn’t have much to do with anime or video games, but is too cool to ignore: Amaleigh Cosplay doing a dark side version of Rey from that little Star Wars thing that came out a couple months ago. Photos by Dream Cherub Cosplay.

What were your favorite costumes? What do you think of the idea of a monthly cosplay roundup? Let us know – and If you liked any of these photos, we’re sure the photographers and cosplayers would love to hear it.
