More On Wit Studio’s Next Show: Seraph of the End

After the smash success of Attack on Titan (not to mention interesting projects like Hal), a lot of fans are excited to see what Wit Studio will do next.

Well, we’ve got some new details on Wit’s adaptation of the vampire manga Seraph of the End (Owari no Seraph), which announced its principal creative staff Saturday.

Directorial duties will be taken on by Daisuke Tokutsuchi, who’s done episodes of Attack on Titan, Guilty Crown and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.

The series’ script will be written by Hiroshi Seko, who has experience on Attack on Titan, Terror in Resonance and Kill la Kill.

Not too shabby a creative team.

The world of Seraph of the End is one in which all adults have been killed by a virus and only children remain. These children are used as food by vampires, but one of them escapes and plans to destroy all the vampires. Sounds kind of Titan-esque, doesn’t it?

The manga, which started in fall 2012, is currently up to six volumes in Japan with two available so far in English.
