Netflix Taps Avengers: Endgame Directors for Magic: The Gathering Animated Series

Netflix is officially calling this one an anime, so here we are!
The world of Wizards of the Coast’s collectable card game Magic: The Gathering is coming to the small screen in a new original animated series from Netflix. To make this an even more monumental event, Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have been brought on board to serve as executive producers for the project that has Netflix teaming up with Hasbro’s Allspark Animation.
The Magic: The Gathering series will feature a brand new storyline centered on the Planeswalkers, who will be contending with “stakes larger than any one world can hold.
Here’s who Netflix has behind the scenes so far:
