New Cardcaptor Sakura Anime on the Way

As if a new manga series by creators CLAMP wasn’t enough, Cardcaptor Sakura will also be returning to the world of anime. There aren’t many details to go on at the moment, but the announcement is coming in the July issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine, which debuts the new manga on June 3.
The new manga reintroduces series lead Sakura Kinomoto in her first year of junior high, and both it and the anime announcement are celebrating Cardcaptor Sakura‘s 20th anniversary.
