New Gundam: Reconguista in G Project in the Works

Fans of Gundam: Reconguista in G will be delighted at a comment Mobile Suit Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino made during this weekend’s Romics event in Rome. Tomino was a special guest for a screening of Reconguista in G, and he mentioned that the series has a new project in the works.

As of right now there isn’t much more to go on, but hopefully we’ll learn more about what type of project to expect soon. Plans for a theatrical film version were previously hinted at thanks to a since-deleted tweet from animator Kazumi Nakatsu, so it could have something to do with that.
