New Naruto/Boruto Game Lets You Create Your Own Ninja

There have been plenty of Naruto video games over the years, but the latest, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, looks like it’s in a league of its own. Case in point: you can create your own custom ninja avatar.

Shinobi Striker, which Bandai Namco is showing off this week at games convention Gamescom, is a 4-on-4 brawler that takes place during a ninja tournament. The game has online connectivity, so you can duke it out with Naruto fans from across the globe.

The game is said to focus on teamwork, and also features capture the flag and other modes.

One of the most exciting parts of the game, though, might be the ability to create your own custom ninja avatar using a palette of settings like you’d find in many western RPGs. This may be the next best thing to getting Masashi Kishimoto to draw your portrait.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker comes to PS4, Xbox One and PC early next year.
