Ninja Gaiden 3 to Unmask at This Year’s E3?

If the new teaser is any indication, all signs point to yes. The blood-soaked evidence is somehow both as clear and as vague as can be, as Ryu Hayabusa slices through a victim (you? me? Itagaki?) right before three slashes make way for the following: “Unmask. E3 2011.”

One can only speculate with the lack of actual gameplay footage, but it’s probably not a stretch to start getting excited about Ninja Gaiden 3‘s big June unveiling. Then again, how will the series fare without former Team Ninja head honcho/wildman Tomonobu Itagaki? We’ll have to wait and see, so enjoy the fleeting glimpse at the best darn ninja in gaming below:
