Leave it up to Japan to make laid-back into a noun.
Laidbackers, an original anime film that opens in Japan April 5, has just received a new key visual and trailer, so lay back and take a look.
The film, which is directed by Hiroyuki Hashimoto (Is the order a rabbit?), concerns a college student in Kyoto who takes up residence in a house with four modern-day reincarnations of ancient heroes.
One of them is a dog.
The theme song for Laidbackers, which is animated by Studio Gokumi, will be performed by Virtual YouTuber Kizuna Ai, who ostensibly recorded the song before drowning.
Looks like it could be a cute little film. What do you think?
