Last month we got a sneak peek at the second arc of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure with an early look at the visuals. Magazine pics are all well and good, but with the “Battle Tendency” arc nearly upon us, it’s time to turn toward a newly unleashed video preview.
The clip below offers a glimpse at the storyline that kicks off starting with episode 10 of the david production (Inu X Boku Secret Service, Level E) anime adaptation. Creator Hirohiko Araki’s original manga version of Battle Tendency ran in Shonen Jump from 1987-1989. It follows the grandson of “Phantom Blood” hero Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, as he battles vampires.
As previously mentioned, Tomokazu Sugita—who plays Gintoki in Gintama—headlines the show as Joseph Joestar. He is joined by Takuya Sato (Toshiki Kai in Cardfight! Vanguard) as Caesar, Atsushi Imaruoka as Stroheim, and Atsuko Tanaka (Ghost in the Shell‘s Major) as Lisa Lisa.
