Yep, there’s still a new Power Rangers movie in the works, and it looks like things are moving along. The latest bit of news out of the project involves the casting of the Pink Ranger. 22-year-old actress Naomi Scott will be taking on the role in the reboot, which is coming to theaters in 2017.
Naomi Scott previously appeared in the 2011 Fox TV series Terra Nova, and recently had a small part in Ridley Scott’s The Martian. Here’s an excited post from her Instagram page:
