Sakura-Con 2020 is Officially Canceled

sakura-con 2020Shortly after Anime Boston 2020 announced its cancellation over coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, Sakura-Con 2020 made the same call. As the pandemic continues, this is going to be pretty par for the course for most spring events, especially after cities and states begin limiting public gatherings more severely.

In Washington, governor Jay Inslee announced that public gatherings would be limited to no more than 50 people. Here’s the official statement from Sakura-Con’s Facebook page:
