See All Three 20th Century Boys Films at NYAF

So you missed out on the New York Asian Film Festival’s premiere of the first two 20th Century Boys films. It’s okay, a lot of people did, I’m sure. Heck, I missed out on them myself, but I have to admit it’s mostly because I don’t want to spoil the manga for myself. Anyway, a second chance is coming up fast, so it’s time to start getting ready for the New York Anime Festival.

Viz Pictures and Subway Cinema will be screening the entire trilogy, with the first two films—20th Century Boys: Part 1 – The Beginning of the End and 20th Century Boys: Part 2 – The Last Hope—showing at NYAF on Friday, September 25th.

After catching those at the convention itself, you’ll only have to wait until Sunday, September 27th for the US premiere of the trilogy’s finale, 20th Century Boys: Part 3 – Redemption. That’s just a hair shy of a month after the film’s August 29th premiere in Japan; not too shabby.
