Sentai Filmworks Adds Maria Holic Alive! to Their Lineup

Sentai Filmworks now has 100% more nosebleedin’ hijinks in their library, with the recently announced acquisition of Maria Holic Alive!.

This followup to Maria Holic continues the antics of the boy-free boarding school, Ame no Kisaki. Expect more life-threatening frustration from Kanako, who just can’t seem to net even the tiniest bit of luck in the world of romance. As the press release puts it, “She came to school to major in loving women, and instead she’s STILL failing relationships in Maria Holic Alive!”

Director Akiyuki Shinbo (Bakemonogatari, Negima!?) returns to helm the series, as well. Maria Holic Alive! is set to broadcast in Japan on April 7. The simulcast begins at 10 p.m. CST on April 10 via The Anime Network. Everyone gets to peep the first episode, but you’ll have to pony up for a membership to keep up with the rest.
