Everyone loves seeing how things are made, especially when it comes to animation. That’s one of the reasons this season’s Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! is so highly regarded, and the SHIROBAKO TV anime is another fantastic example. Now the staff at Musashino Animation are set to return in a SHIROBAKO anime film, which, appropriately enough, tasks them with making an anime film of their own.
The SHIROBAKO movie opens in Japan on February 29. You can see the latest preview—which includes the reveal of theme song “Gather the Stars” by fhána—below.
