At long last, it’s time to see how the planned redesign of the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie’s lead character went. While some doubts understandably popped up during the wait, we have to hand it to the team behind it. Director Jeff Fowler and his VFX crew took fan feedback to heart and delivered a much more faithful take on Sonic.

See how he looks in the new official trailer below, gloves and all.
