The 10th anniversary celebration of the Steins;Gate series has been going strong, but nothing has been quite as huge as the latest announcement. An anniversary event went down in Odaiba this weekend, bringing with it the reveal of plans for a live-action Hollywood TV adaptation of the original Steins;Gate visual novel.

Skydance Media—who previously produced the Terminator: Dark Fate and Top Gun: Maverick movies, as well as Netflix shows like Altered Carbon and Grace and Frankie—is behind the production. At the time of this writing that’s about all we know, but the series is being produced with worldwide distribution in mind.
