It’s another big day for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players, because a Hero has suddenly appeared! The new paid DLC—which introduces Dragon Quest‘s Hero into the mix along with the new Yggdrasil’s Altar stage, orchestrated music from the DQ series, and the option to choose between Hero styles from Dragon Quest III, IV, VIII, and XI—is available today along with the 4.0 update.
Other features introduced in the update include video editor enhancements, a new Very Easy mode for World of Light, and an Online Tournament system with unique conditions for players around the world.

The next character will be Banjo from Banjo Kazooie this fall.
