Teaser for Next Film from Negadon’s Jun Awazu

I really enjoyed independent filmmaker Jun Awazu’s previous work, the computer-animated kaiju-infused short Negadon: The Monster from Mars. It was brief but tightly conceived and executed, so I’ve been excited ever since to see what Awazu would be cooking up next.

Now that project is upon us, and it comes in the form of the CG film Planzet, in which aliens loom the threat of extinction over mankind in the year 2053. So far it’s looking bleak but beautiful, and hopefully we’ll be able to see how the final results fare for ourselves in 2010.
