A special premiere event was held in Japan for the third That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime OAD, and it brought some new information for the previously-teased continuation along with it. According to the announcement, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 2 is set to premiere on TV in Japan this fall.

The new season will have the staff and cast returning from the first season at anime studio 8-Bit. In addition to the news, a new visual to celebrate the seasonal reveal was shared online.
