Two new U.S. TV spots for director Hayao Miyazaki’s final feature film, The Wind Rises, have been posted on the Studio Ghibli movie’s official YouTube channel. The promos couldn’t come at a better time, since Studio Ghibli International also recently announced more screenings for the film.
Limited North American screenings are set to kick off on February 21, with a wide release to follow on February 28. The Australian opening will take place on February 27, and Britain will be getting the film on May 9. Look out for some additional info below the TV spots.
Landmark Theaters across the U.S. will be getting The Wind Rises soon. There are also screenings planned at the Frank G. Wells Screening Room in Burbank, California on February 12, followed by the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles on February 21.
The Wind Rises will premiere in Mexico at the fourth annual FICUM film festival on February 27.
