Trailer Roundup: Studio Ghibli’s Latest, Sword Art Online II

Some exciting trailers out this week, the first for Studio Ghibli’s latest film, When Marnie Was There, which is due out in Japan this month (look for our review then).

When Marnie Was There is directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi (Arrietty) and is adapted from a book by Joan G. Robinson. The song in the trailer, written for the film, is “Fine On The Outside” by American singer-songwriter Priscilla Ahn.

The second is for the long-awaited Sword Art Online II, set to premiere at Anime Expo and subsequently on these here internets July 5th. Sword Art Online II, which boasts the same creative staff as part one, covers the Phantom Bullet arc of the original light novels.
