Tsuburaya, Toei Team Up for KAIJU DECODE Anime

Tsuburaya, Toei Team Up for KAIJU DECODE AnimeWhat do you get when you combine the special effects studio behind Ultraman and one of Japan’s biggest animation studios?

KAIJU DECODE, that’s what.

The newly-revealed series pairs Tsuburaya Productions (Ultraman) with Toei Animation (Dragon Ball, One Piece) for a project about “kaiju and girls.” Kaiju are, of course, distinctly Japanese monsters like Godzilla and Gamera.

Aside from that short description, we also got a mysterious image of a cocoon-like object and a promise that more details will be revealed December 14.

Two producers attached to the project are Koichi Noguchi (Expelled from Paradise) and Masahiro Onda (SSSS.Gridman). They’re aiming KAIJU DECODE at an international audience.

Looking forward to DECODE-ing some fresh information about this series next month.
