Uzaki-chan Hangs Out in Debut TV Anime Trailer

uzaki-chan

Uzaki-chan of Take’s popular Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! manga may be known for her attempts to help the Red Cross increase blood drive participation in Japan, but she also has an anime on the way! The series is set to premiere this July, and you can see the first promo—featuring Naomi Ozora as Hana Uzaki and Kenji Akabane as Shinichi Sakurai—below.

Kazuya Miura (Kemono Michi: Rise Up) directs the series at production house ENGI. Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga in English and sums it up like so:

Sakurai Shinichi’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Uzaki Hana – his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman – has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him. With the help of her chipper charm and peppy persistence, this might just be the start of a beautiful relationship! Fans of slice-of-life comedy Tomo-chan is a Girl! are sure to enjoy this new “odd couple” tale about sexy misadventures in a college setting.
