Weekend CM: Final Fantasy Type-0 Commercial

Nearing the end of its development cycle, Final Fantasy Type-0 started its life as a cell phone game, and is well on its way to landing on Japanese PSPs. As a result, Square Enix has kicked off the marketing push for its title, starting with the commercial below.

The CM, which is loaded with odd, goofy voice acting, actually serves as a promotion for a campaign called “Atereco CM Koushien”, which asks players to submit lines through the site that will then be read by the game’s voice actors and other celebrities. The special commercials that come from this campaign will be aired at Nico Nico Video.
