Gotta eat ‘em all?
Yoshinoya, one of Japan’s many beef bowl chains, has teamed up with the Pokémon powers that be. From today to March 18, they’re offering up their signature beef’n’rice in Pokéball-themed bowls that, well, kind of make us feel like we’re eating Poké-meat, to be honest.
Anyway: you can rock up to Yoshinoya just to eat out of a Poké-bowl, or you can go for a set meal in which you also get a boxed juice or milk with Pikachu on it and one of six Pokémon figures.
(Well, one of five: the color variations of Gastrodon are split between east and west Japan, just like in the game, meaning you’ll have to do some traveling to truly catch ‘em all.)
Some Yoshinoya locations have even been jazzed up for the occasion, as you can see in the tweet below.
We suspect there are more than a few Japanese children (and adults, who are we kidding) whose beef bowl consumption is going to rise significantly in the next few months.
